A huge fire broke out in a chemical plant today, Friday, in an industrial zone in Sadat City, northwest of Cairo - affiliated to the Menoufia Governorate - causing terror among the people of the region due to the sound of explosions.
And local media said that the Civil Protection authorities had paid 15 fire engines to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring factories.
And local media stated that initial reports indicate that the fire did not result in any casualties.
