His Highness said, "Holding these talks regularly strengthens the relations between our two countries, in which we have invested a lot of time and effort over the past years."

His Highness said, “Relations between the UAE and the Republic of Greece started in 1975, and during these years a lot has been done, and the UAE sought to strengthen relations with Greece to be a source of stability and growth in the region, and our bilateral relations have witnessed development and prosperity in all fields, including economic, political, military, cultural and digital governance. And food security ».

His Highness added, "The two countries have also made great efforts to enhance economic and trade relations, which was positively reflected in the level of trade exchange between the two countries."

His Highness affirmed, “Our relationship with Greece is not limited to the economic sphere, but is witnessing a great growth in relations between the peoples of the two countries, and the number of Greek visitors to the UAE in 2019 reached more than 24,000 Greek citizens.”

His Highness added, "There are 4000 Greek citizens living in the country, who contribute to supporting the development, economic and social process in their second country, the Emirates, and the aviation sector also supports this increasing number of tourists visiting and residing between our two countries."

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, "There are many joint cultural projects between the UAE and Greece, which reflect the level of prosperity the two countries have reached in the cultural and educational field at the youth level."

His Highness noted, “More than 640 Greek citizens reside in the UAE and enroll in its schools, universities and institutes, while the number of Emirati scholarships in Greek universities has reached more than 100, and these cultural and educational efforts have helped to enhance openness and cultural understanding between the two countries.”

His Highness indicated that the successes reached by the UAE would not have been achieved without an open, tolerant and coexistent Emirati society. We also look forward to achieving these common values ​​through strong Greek participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai, which the country will host next year.
