A stabbing attack took place on September 25 in Paris at the end of the morning.

A police intervention is underway in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, in the area of ​​Boulevard Richard-Lenoir, announced the police headquarters, which advises to avoid the area. 

Four people were injured.

One person is in serious condition. 

"The facts occurred around 11:30 am, near the rue Nicolas Appert, where the former premises of Charlie Hebdo were located", specifies Christophe Dansette, journalist for France 24 on the spot. 

Manhunt in progress 

A "potentially dangerous individual" is wanted, said on Twitter Emmanuel Grégoire, first deputy mayor of Paris.

"The fleeing attacker entered the metro and a manhunt in progress. The police are looking for Indo-Pakistani men," explains Christophe Dansette.  

The perimeter is currently closed.
