Since Thursday afternoon, the forest between Nancray and Gennes, in the Doubs, has been the subject of fierce research.

About fifteen gendarmes and a helicopter were mobilized to find the alleged assailant of a jogger, according to L'Est Républicain.

The facts allegedly took place around 2 p.m.

The victim would have escaped unscathed but with a few scratches, according to the regional daily.

Before that, she would have met two women "who were heading towards Nancray", according to the Doubs gendarmerie, which launched a call for witnesses Thursday evening.

Anyone likely to provide any information relevant to the investigation is requested to contact the Besançon-Tarragnoz gendarmerie, at 03.81.81.32.23.
