From Monday to Friday in Media Culture, Eva Roque gives you her TV tips for the evening.

This Friday, she recommends three TV programs for us to watch as a family with the children this weekend.

• "The stories of words" are to be tasted on France.tv, the canteen not good to taste is on LCP public Senate Saturday at 9 pm and the first episodes of "Modern family" are to be devoured on NRJ 12 Saturday at 9:05 pm.

What's the theme of the day?

Everything for children!

It's a weekend devoted to childhood and family on your screens.

On france.tv to start with a great program for the little ones and for us too. 

"The stories of words", name of this pastille, tell us the origin of common words like the word pants.

In the 16th century, the people of Venice believed they were protected by a saint called San Pantaleone.

The Venetians, considered a little tight-fisted, were called the pantalone.

Title that an actor used to make it a successful show.

And here he is in representation at the court of the King of France.

In three minutes, you learn lots of stories and lots of words like rail, blowpipe but also spinach.

Often canteen memories come to the surface and they are rarely delicious. 

Journalist Valérie Simonet was fed up with hearing her children complain about school meals.

So for a month, she ate the same menu as her offspring.

The experience was conclusive and here she is in agreement with her children.
