The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the inconsistencies in the situation with Alexei Navalny and noted that Germany's actions in the situation with the blogger were so well-adjusted that they thought about whether the incident was a staging "on the theme of the mystical use of chemical weapons."

The department, in particular, pointed to the readiness to immediately take Navalny to Germany for treatment, the presence of representatives of the Bundeswehr during his transportation, as well as the involvement of the top military-political leadership in the situation, "whose" guest "the said" a patient".

"All these organizational issues, it seems, were the components of a plan to politicize this incident with an understandable goal - to accuse Russia of violating the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC)," the Foreign Ministry noted.

The Foreign Ministry also called the fact of the safety of Navalny's entourage, allegedly "poisoned" by "Novichok", "an amazing thing on the verge of fantasy."

“There are questions about the well-being of the people around the“ poisoned ”Navalny in the hotel, at the airport and on board the plane, which, logically, should have been seriously affected.

However, this did not happen, apparently, also due to some happy coincidence.

In a word, amazing things happened everywhere on the verge of fantasy, ”the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.

The ministry recalled that Russia in the blogger's case immediately took the most transparent position, but received a categorical refusal of the FRG government to cooperate in establishing the reasons for what happened.

“In fact, from the first day Berlin switched to“ megaphone ”diplomacy, unleashing a wide campaign on accusations of the alleged poisoning of a Russian citizen by the Russian authorities.

The Euro-Atlantic allies and the headquarters of NATO and the European Union took an active part in it, demanding a kind of "independent international investigation" under the auspices of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), "the Foreign Ministry stressed.

The department drew attention to the "preparatory measures" taken by the technical secretariat of the OPCW, as well as maintaining constant contact with Berlin, indicate its bias and bias.

Recall that the day before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the situation with Navalny, called Berlin's responses to the requests of the Russian side “absurd”, and added that the OPCW, where Moscow also sent a request, “fooled her for several days”.

The minister recalled that Russia officially requested the FRG for consular access to Navalny, who is a Russian citizen, but did not receive a response.

In addition, Germany has not yet provided any evidence that Navalny was allegedly poisoned with a Novichok substance.

On September 25, the deputy official representative of the FRG government, Martina Fitz, said during a briefing that the German representation in the OPCW had received a note from Russia demanding that it provide comprehensive information on the situation with Alexei Navalny.

“I can confirm that the German representation of the FRG in the OPCW received yesterday a Russian note on the situation with the poisoning of Alexei Navalny, it will respond to this note within the framework of the relevant provisions of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which provides for this within 10 days,” she quotes RIA News.

When asked by RT Deutsch about why the German authorities still refuse to test those accompanying Navalny, especially doctors and pilots of the plane from Omsk to Berlin, for traces of Novichok, given its high lethality, Fitz said: “I have no information on this issue, since at present there is no need to take any other steps in this matter than those that have already been taken. "

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the situation around Navalny, stressed that chemical weapons on Russian territory had been destroyed, and Moscow had fulfilled its obligations under the relevant convention.

Answering journalists' questions, Peskov added that in order to feel anxiety about the use of chemical weapons by someone, you need to get the necessary facts.

“So far, our specialists do not have such an opportunity.

All studies that are conducted in this regard do not confirm this fact.

At the same time, we know that our colleagues in Berlin, Paris and Stockholm claim that they have such confirmation.

To move on, we need to get the information that our colleagues have in the aforementioned capitals, ”Peskov explained.

Meanwhile, the State Duma commission to investigate the facts of interference in the affairs of Russia from the outside sent an appeal to the President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble with a proposal to create a joint working group for parliamentary control over the investigation of the incident with Navalny, RIA Novosti reports.

The commission's appeal states that the massive disinformation campaign about the alleged involvement of the Russian side in the "poisoning" of the blogger is planned and damages the development of relations between the two countries.
