Syrian student Aya Nabil was able to achieve second place in Iraqi Kurdistan in the high school diploma.
The girl was forced with her family to leave her country about 7 years ago due to the circumstances of the ongoing war there and took refuge in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Aya succeeded in facing the difficulties and challenging the circumstances of alienation, and was determined to achieve her ambition to excel in her studies, in the hope that after that she would be able to study medicine at one of the most prestigious international universities.
As a result of her high school distinction, she won any honor from the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Region, Masrour Barzani, and others.
