Regional increases and people's increasingly relaxed attitude to corona infection in society can mean stricter restrictions in the future if the situation worsens, the government announces.

- The great caution that was in place this spring has been replaced by hugs, parties and rush hours in public transport.

In a way, it's understandable.

But we must persevere and persevere.

The situation is better but the crisis is not over, says Stefan Löfven.

- We need to take joint responsibility.

Avoid hugging friends when you see and thank down to cramped home parties.

Avoid public transport if you have the opportunity.

The 500 limit remains

Due to the spread of the infection, the government will not ease the restrictions on the number of visitors to cultural and sports events, according to Stefan Löfven.

A proposal for a ceiling of 500 people, compared to the current 50, has been under investigation by the government for some time.

There were hopes that such a change could take effect on October 1, which is not happening now.

"Life-threatening disease"

According to Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren (S), the situation is better in Sweden than in several places in Europe.

There has been no steep increase in cases.

But she also called on the Swedes to be careful and pointed out the risk of further regional outbreaks.

- It may be a mild cold for you, but it can be a life-threatening illness for someone else.

Johan Carlson, Director General of the Swedish Public Health Agency, also raised a warning finger.

- It is not import infection that worries, but the same conditions for the spread of infection exist in all countries - that you do not keep your distance and good hygiene.

- We are at the same level as five or six weeks ago so we have a small increase in the country.

We see it in all working age groups, not just young people.

Workplaces are in this situation a source of the spread of infection.
