Manufacturers claim to have launched new products ...

The creators, manufacturers and distributors of toys are unanimous: they have kept their commitments.

They say they have launched new products, overhauled catalogs and shelf organization, and trained salespeople.

In stores, the effect is already being felt according to Aïcha, mother of four children: "we now find toys that were rather labeled boys and which are now also for girls, such as darts, for example," she says. at the microphone of Europe 1.

... but the pink and blue packaging has not disappeared

But the pink and blue packaging has not completely disappeared.

According to professionals, it is because customers are asking.

"If you bring him a doll or a dinette, that doesn't do it," says Bruno, who has come to please his grandson.

"Some products, which are mixed, sometimes arrive in two colors, with a boy's destination and a girl's destination. The manufacturers see that the lines are moving slowly so they wait", explains Franck Mathais, spokesperson for Joué Club, who wants to recall that toys are an industry like any other, which responds to demand. 

Manufacturers are waiting in particular for next Christmas to find out whether customers are ready to turn to these new mixed toys.
