Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed receives the first dose of "Covid-19" vaccine, in support of the national program

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, received the first dose of the "Covid-19" vaccine, in support of the national program for the use of the Covid-19 vaccine in the country and to encourage cadres of vital sectors.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the wise leadership’s interest in all workers in the vital sectors of the first line of defense and its keenness to ensure and provide the highest levels of safety and security for them, which is at the top of its priorities.

This came during his visit to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, to inspect the procedures for the first day of the process of administering the "Covid-19" vaccine to cadres working in vital sectors from the first line of defense in the emirate, after the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the country last week authorized the use of the vaccine. For workers in the first line of defense.

The trials conducted in the country, with the participation of more than 31 thousand volunteers from 125 nationalities, have proven that the vaccine is safe and effective and resulted in a strong response to fight the virus.

The use of the "Covid-19" vaccine will allow to save lives and reduce the infections resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, which is one of the ways the country has taken to limit the spread of the epidemic and protect the health and safety of society.
