On Thursday, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven (S) was called to a press conference where he, together with Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren (S) and the Public Health Agency's Director General Johan Karlsson, said that there were signs that the spread of infection was increasing.

This means that no decision has yet been made to impose restrictions.

And the spread of infection is also increasing in Sörmland.

Last week, infection control doctor Signar Mäkitalo explained how important it is to stay at home if you have symptoms.

- Unfortunately, we have noted a number of cases in the county where people tested themselves for ongoing covid-19 infection but then did not stay at home waiting for test results but went to their regular meetings, evening activities, training and more.

When the test answer came, it turned out to be positive.

By doing so, these people expose others to risk and the infection can be passed on, said Signar Mäkitalo, infection control doctor in Sörmland, according to a press release last week.

We went out on the town to hear how the people of Nyköping view the increased spread of infection in the county.
