Alexandre Bresse, a 22-year-old cook, was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years of criminal imprisonment by the Haute-Garonne Assize Court for the murder and rape in 2018 of Alicia, 14 years old.
He also receives seven years of socio-judicial follow-up with compulsory care.

The body found at the accused's home
Alicia had been discovered in cardio-respiratory arrest on the evening of April 19, 2018 by gendarmes in the accused's apartment in Beauzelle, near Toulouse, where she had gone with a mutual friend.
His father, present at the time of his discovery, and his mother-in-law had sounded the alarm, worried about his delay in returning.
Described by the civil parties as "a teenager full of life, serious, a young girl like the others", she was hidden in a bed-trunk, a T-shirt in the mouth and a cord around the neck.
She was initially able to be revived, but died in hospital.
The accused had tried to hide the body of the young girl in the trunk on which he had sat, before fleeing.
He was quickly arrested in the nearby town of Blagnac.
"I do not remember any more, I did anything by modifying the scene of crime", he affirmed during the trial, invoking his "panic" in front of the civil parties calling him to "say the truth ".
“I am not a rapist.
I never raped anyone, ”he said again before the jury withdrew.
Justice will therefore not believe his version.
