Bayern Munich and Sevilla FC had to resolve to play overtime after finishing back to back (1-1) the first 90 minutes of the European Supercup, Thursday in Budapest.

The Andalusians, winners of the Europa League, opened the scoring on a penalty from Lucas Ocampos (13th), but the Bavarians, crowned in the Champions League in August and dominating in this meeting, responded thanks to Leon Goretzka (34th), ideally served by Robert Lewandowski.

The match was played in front of more than 15,000 spectators, a first in Europe since March despite an ever-pervasive coronavirus pandemic.
