On September 18, on Lenin Avenue in the Soviet district of Bryansk, a 33-year-old relative of a high-ranking official, who was driving a Volkswagen Touareg, crashed into a Toyota Will in front.

From a strong blow, a foreign car was thrown on the Mitsubishi Lancer.

As a result, the driver of Toyota, 35-year-old Dmitry Pugachev, was hospitalized with a head injury, from which he later died.

According to eyewitnesses, Rezunov was very drunk and fled from the scene of the accident.

According to media reports, on September 19, the court deprived a relative of a high-ranking official of his driver's license and ordered him to pay a fine of 30 thousand rubles for drunk driving.

On September 21, it became known about the death of Pugachev.

On the same day, Vice Governor Alexander Rezunov resigned and asked to forgive his son.

The sister of the deceased, Alla Pugacheva, told RT how she learned about the accident involving her brother.

- Tell me, please, what is happening in the case now?

Has he already been retrained?

- Until the case is re-qualified.

The culprit is in the hospital.

We do not know what his injuries are.

He went to the hospital only four days later - after the death of his brother became known.

We believe this is done in order to avoid punishment.

If something bothered him, he would have asked for help right away, rather than waiting for several days.

- Did the law enforcement agencies look for him after the accident?

- As far as we know, after the accident no one was looking for him.

A criminal case was opened on the fact of the accident on September 18.

- Do you know where he was traveling from in this state?

-Not.

We only know that he was driving in the same lane as Dima, at a very high speed.

- How did you find out about what happened?

- I learned about what happened only at half past nine in the morning.

Friends began to call me and ask: “Where is Dima?

What about him?"

At first I answered them that he was probably walking.

And then they told me the truth.

They read about it on social media.

At nine o'clock, we already knew for sure that it was Dima who had an accident.

- What did the doctors say about Dmitry's condition?

- The doctors initially did not give us any hope.

They said that the trauma is incompatible with life, that one has only to hope for a miracle - there was a very small chance that Dima would be able to survive.

The injury is very serious.

- Did Rezunov or his father get in touch with you?

- Not.

His father did not try to contact us either.

His representatives only got in touch.

But we didn't even talk to them.

They came at the very moment when we had a goodbye to the body.

We had no time for them.

We have grief.

The only thing we told them was: "Where have you been before?"

Because before that all three days they did not try to contact us.

- What punishment do you want to achieve?

“I want the perpetrator to receive the maximum punishment according to the law.

So that no one gets hurt in the future.

This man was repeatedly caught while driving drunk.

We do not want to be released and this situation will repeat itself in the future.

- What are you planning to do in the near future?

- We would very much like to get the help of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, so that he would assist us in the investigation of this case.

We are afraid that everything may come to naught and the guilty person will escape responsibility.

Of course, we are now trying to make this case as public as possible through the media.

- Please tell us about Dmitry.

Judging by his page on the social network, he was fond of cars.

- My brother was very fond of cars.

Was in the group of Toyota Will fans.

At every opportunity he tried to modernize his car, put all his efforts into it.

He was a creative and versatile person.

He tried to break into television: he appeared on talk shows, played in some episodic roles in films.

He was a member of the Nashi movement.

They went to rest on Seliger.

He was very proactive, active and friendly.

He was a leader and ringleader.

All friends say only kind and warm words about him.
