On September 22, RT released a comic video showing what the work of the current US President Donald Trump on a television channel might look like if he lost in the upcoming presidential elections on November 3, 2020.

According to the plot of the video, in November 2020, Trump in a black limousine arrives at the RT office in Moscow and enters an office with a sign indicating his name and position of the host of the TV channel.

He says the job offer came from Russian leader Vladimir Putin, to which Trump "happily agreed."

“How else can I fight fake news?

Or reporters and channels who are not telling the truth?

CNN is a total negative, ”Trump says in the video.

Further, according to the plot, the American president gets used to the editorial office and prepares for broadcasts.

He also wears a cap with the RT logo instead of a red cap with his presidential campaign slogan.

In addition, in the video, Trump, walking in the center of Moscow, praises the wall of the Moscow Kremlin.

"Great wall: I really know a lot about them!"

- the US President notes.

In the video, Trump also eats lunch in a cafeteria at RT's office, picking up a tray saying that "Mexico will pay for his lunch."

"Mr. Trump, if nothing comes of the White House, consider this an official proposal," the video says at the end.

The video is dedicated to the US presidential elections, the course of which can be followed on RT.

Donald Trump is running for a second term, with Democratic candidate Joe Biden as his main rival.

A number of major English-language media responded to the video.

Thus, The Daily Beast published material under the heading "Russian state channel published a deepfake, where Trump is portrayed as Putin's puppet," in which it described the video as "extravagant and extremely shocking."

“We all know that Vladimir Putin is extremely serious about his life's work - undermining American democracy and destroying the very foundations of Western civilization, but this does not mean that he and his media servants should not be joking about this from time to time” , - said the publication.

Also, the author of the article draws attention to the frame where Trump demonstrates the contract signed with RT, on which the amount "$ 1,000,000,000" written by hand with a felt-tip pen is visible and says: "Putin himself proposed."

In another shot, a TV channel employee offers Trump different broadcast options, one of which is called Putin's Candidate, and Trump himself is depicted in his splash screen with the Russian president.

The Daily Beast said that "the video opaquely hints that Trump is a big fan of Putin and that the US president is controlled by the Kremlin."

“It is clear that the video is primarily a mischief of the RT channel employees.

But at the same time, this is a certain signal that causes concern - after all, this is how the Kremlin sees the upcoming elections, and the Russian state media portray Trump as Putin's puppet, ”the publication says.

The publication HuffPost in the material "The Russian state media resource decided to tease Trump by offering him a job for the period after the elections," writes that RT advertises its information coverage of the American elections by offering a job to President Donald Trump if he is defeated.

Having "appropriated" the face and voice of the US president to the actor, RT created a video in which Trump, a few days after the election failure, arrives in Moscow to work as a "special presenter," writes HuffPost.

As the publication notes, although "the video was made for fun," "the American intelligence community believes that Russia's attempts to intervene in the 2020 elections are much more veiled than its efforts to assist Trump in 2016."

In turn, the Daily Mail wrote about the RT video in an article entitled "Trump TV: Russian state TV channel created a parody video in which the current US president, having lost to Joe Biden, goes to work as a news presenter and admires Vladimir Putin."

The newspaper notes that the video uses original audio recordings, in which "the US President admires Vladimir Putin, praises the Kremlin and scolds the mainstream media."

"The purpose of the RT video apparently was to troll critics who accused Trump of being under Putin's influence, amid growing fears that the Russian authorities are trying to interfere in the American elections in the same way as in 2016," article.

"RT's sarcastic attempt to debunk rumors of Trump's collusion with Russia came to light just as the CIA released a report that said Putin was" likely "leading the campaign to discredit Biden," the newspaper notes.

On Demand News also noted that RT posted a video "mocking US President Donald Trump," and stated that the short video was released to advertise RT's coverage of the 2020 US presidential election.

“In a parody video, Trump accepts an offer to become a presenter on a Russian TV channel immediately after losing to Joe Biden in the November elections.

The parodic analogue of Trump is always ready to fulfill the will of Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, ”the service said.

In turn, The Moscow Times stated that RT, “as if resigned to its reputation as a source of threat to the American elections, released a commercial in which President Donald Trump was offered a job as a“ special presenter ”in case he lost the election. race 2020 ".

As stated in the publication of The Moscow Times, RT "moved Trump 44 days into the future, where he accepts the offer of Russian President Vladimir Putin to become the leading RT after losing the election on November 3."

“In a comic video, Trump's face and voice were combined with the acting to show how the hero is getting used to his new job in Moscow,” the publication said.

The headline reads: RT Trolls Trump with Post-Election Job Offer.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz published an article under the headline "Deepfake Videos Are A Serious Threat to Democracy in Countries from Israel to the United States," where it cited the RT video with Trump as an example.

“Image, sound and video generated by artificial intelligence are increasingly detrimental to our ability to distinguish truth from fiction in the political sphere,” the publication says.

Twitter users also drew attention to the RT video.

"The situation we have now is strange, and move on, you can find a way out only if you act smarter," - wrote producer Dennis Herring, commenting on the news about the appearance of the video.

We're in a weird zone now, & the only way forward, the only way out- is smarter.

In December 2015, another RT video also attracted global media attention.

For the tenth anniversary of the channel, a story was filmed about how in 2035 the aged US President Barack Obama, a retiree, receives Secretary of State John Kerry as a guest.

In the house of the former American leader, there is a TV on which the current President of America, Edward Snowden, is speaking on RT.

            "Fucking propaganda mouthpiece!"

Shouts the Secretary of State, who has aged 20 years.

"Damn propaganda mouthpiece," Obama replies wearily, pulling a beer out of the refrigerator.

Then the newspaper The Washington Post noted that the aged John Kerry was "furious" because in Obama's house a Russian channel was shown on which the whistleblower of the US intelligence services, and now, in 2035, the country's president was declaring a "new era of transparency."

The famous Russian translator, publicist and dubbing actor Dmitry Goblin Puchkov also took part in the dubbing of the video.

In the same month, the video "How does the" Kremlin propaganda "or Simonyan, a bear and beaver juice work, scored hundreds of thousands of views per day.
