It was two weeks ago, 11 September, at half past four in the afternoon that the police were alerted to an address in central Borås.

Inside the salon, a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg, something P4 Sjuhärad was the first to report.

Police and prosecutors suspect that the hairdresser, as we call Adrian, was shot by mistake and that the target was actually the customer.

Several arrested

Shortly after the shooting, four men were arrested and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

When SVT Nyheter Väst interviews Adrian, he is still in hospital and has leg pain.

- It hurts so incredibly, if everything goes as planned, I will have surgery soon, he says.

Adrian is still shaken by the event which he describes as unreal.

- I remember how it warmed my leg and in the same second I realized that I had been hit, he says.

In the clip above, you hear him talk about his thoughts on how bad things could have gone.

The hairdresser's customer was the target

The men who were detained have been released, but the suspicions remain, according to the prosecutor.

- It has become quite clear that it is the person who is there and cuts himself who seems to be the target for this attack, says chamber prosecutor Martin Svensson.

How do you, as a prosecutor, see a third party end up in the firing line?

- It is of course very serious.

It is incredibly clear that you do not care if others have been harmed.

Leading role in criminal network

According to information to SVT Nyheter Väst, the customer, who was sitting in the hairdresser's chair when Adrian was shot, is part of the same criminal group as the four suspects.

The customer who is suspected of being the target is already known to the police, he has previously been convicted of several crimes and has for a long time played a leading role in a criminal network based on Hässleholmen in Borås.

Adrian is a fictitious name.

His real name is something else.
