The Eiffel Tower on alert.
This Wednesday, at the end of the morning, an anonymous phone call explained to the police that a bomb had been deposited within the monument which was immediately evacuated as a precaution.
The neighborhood was cordoned off by the police.
Checks were also ordered.
"The monument was evacuated from noon, on-site checks are underway," confirms with the

After three and a half months of confinement, the Eiffel Tower, which welcomes six million visitors each year, reopened its doors at the end of June.
