For ten days, it is a real hecatomb.
A resident of Poix-Terron, in the Ardennes, finds dead pigeons every day in her garden, reports France 3 Grand-Est.
The cause ?
They would have been poisoned.
At least that's what Bernard Ulrich, head of the Center for Assistance and Information on Birds in the Ardennes (CIOA), thinks.
“He's at his normal weight, but he's not struggling anymore.
He is under the influence of poison.
He is paralyzed and will take two days to die there, like that.
It's disgusting, ”he regrets, noting that other birds would be victims of the same treatment.
But who is behind these acts of cruelty?
The town hall of the town has been notified, as has the Sedan gendarmerie company.
No complaint was filed, nor any intervention carried out, according to the channel.
