Earlier, Mike Pompeo said that Washington is working to create a coalition to prevent the completion of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
He also expressed the hope that Germany will come to the same opinion because of what happened to Alexei Navalny, or "because of the real security implications of dependence on Russian gas."
The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that one of the main targets of the West's campaign on the situation with Navalny is Nord Stream 2.
