Honorable Audience:

Since the establishment of this organization, my country has been at the forefront of countries seeking to achieve international peace and security, and has always worked and is still making efforts to mediate and reach peaceful solutions to conflicts, and try to avoid them, and support security and stability, growth and prosperity.

However, the Middle East region has suffered, and is still, from major security and political challenges that threaten the security of its people and the stability of its countries.

Our region has suffered for long decades from the forces of extremism and chaos trying to impose their policies and orientations to reformulate the present and future of the countries of the region, indifferent to the aspirations of their peoples for growth, prosperity and peace, and we have chosen in the Kingdom a path for the future through the Kingdom's Vision 2030, through which we aspire to be a pioneering economy and our society. He interacted with his surroundings, contributing actively to the renaissance of humanity and its civilization.

In its regional and international environment, the Kingdom pursues a policy based on respect for international laws and norms, the continuous pursuit of security, stability and prosperity in its surroundings, support for political solutions to conflicts, and combating extremism in all its forms and manifestations.

The Kingdom has extended its hands for peace with Iran and has dealt with it during the past decades with positivity and openness, and has received its presidents several times to discuss ways to build good neighborly relations and mutual respect, and it welcomed international efforts to address Iran's nuclear program, but again and again the whole world saw the Iranian regime's exploitation of these efforts in Increasing its expansionist activities, building its terrorist networks, using terrorism, and wasting the capabilities and wealth of the Iranian people to achieve expansion projects that have only resulted in chaos, extremism and sectarianism.

In continuation of this aggressive approach, the Iranian regime last year targeted oil installations in the Kingdom, in flagrant violation of international laws and an assault on international peace and security, and in a way that confirms that this system does not care about the stability of the global economy and the security of oil supplies to global markets, and continues through its tools to target The Kingdom with ballistic missiles that exceeded three hundred missiles and more than four hundred drones in flagrant violation of Security Council Resolutions 2216 and 2231, and experiences with the Iranian regime have taught us that partial solutions and attempts to appease do not stop its threats to international peace and security. A comprehensive solution and a firm international position that guarantees Radically addressing the Iranian regime's pursuit of weapons of mass destruction, developing its ballistic missile program, its interference in the internal affairs of other countries, and its sponsorship of terrorism.

Honorable Audience:

The Iranian regime’s interference in Yemen through the coup of its Houthi militia against the legitimate authority led to a political, economic and humanitarian crisis that the brotherly Yemeni people suffers from, and constitutes a source of threat to the security of the countries of the region and the vital waterways of the global economy, in addition to disrupting these militias The arrival of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people, obstructing all efforts to reach a political solution in Yemen, and its failure to respond to the efforts to calm down, the last of which was the declaration of the coalition last April for a ceasefire in response to the United Nations' call and to provide an opportunity to strengthen efforts to combat the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in Yemen, as it does not It continues to target civilians in Yemen and the Kingdom.

We affirm that the Kingdom will not be complacent in defending its national security, nor will it abandon the brotherly Yemeni people until it regains its full sovereignty and independence from Iranian hegemony, and will continue to provide humanitarian support to the brotherly Yemeni people, and we will also continue our support for the efforts of the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Yemen, in accordance with the initiative. The Gulf Cooperation Council, the outcomes of the comprehensive Yemeni national dialogue, and Security Council Resolution 2216.

Distinguished attendees:

Terrorism and extremist ideology constitute a major challenge facing the entire world, and we have succeeded together over the past few years in achieving important successes in confronting extremist organizations, including defeating ISIS's control of lands in Iraq and Syria, through the efforts of the International Coalition. Legitimacy in Yemen in directing important blows to al-Qaeda and ISIS in Yemen.

Achieving success in our fight against terrorism and extremism requires intensifying our joint efforts by facing this challenge in a comprehensive manner that deals with combating terrorist financing and extremist ideology.

The Kingdom has supported a number of international institutions that contribute to supporting joint efforts in facing this challenge, as the Kingdom supported the United Nations International Center for Combating Terrorism, with an amount of one hundred and ten million dollars, and established the Global Center for Combating Extremist Thought (Etidal), and the Kingdom also hosts the International Center. To target terrorist financing.

Honorable Audience:

We in the Kingdom, based on our position in the Islamic world, assume a special and historical responsibility, which is to protect our tolerant Islamic belief from attempts to distort terrorist organizations and extremist groups. The Islamic religion that made the murder of one human soul equal to the crime of killing all people is undoubtedly He is acquitted of all heinous crimes and atrocities committed in his name by the forces of terrorism and extremism.

Terrorist and extremist organizations find a fertile environment for the emergence and spreading of countries that witness sectarian divisions, weakness and collapse of state institutions. For homelands, which are ideologies that often seek to cover their extremism and their chaotic and destructive nature with false political slogans.

Honorable Audience:

Peace in the Middle East is our strategic choice, and our duty is to spare no effort to work together towards achieving a bright future dominated by peace, stability, prosperity and coexistence among all peoples of the region, and the Kingdom supports all efforts aimed at advancing the peace process, and the Kingdom has launched peace initiatives since 1981. The Arab Peace Initiative included foundations for a comprehensive and just solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict that would ensure that the brotherly Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights, foremost among which is the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and we also support the efforts made by the current US administration to bring peace to the Middle East through the Palestinian and Israeli sides sitting on The negotiating table to reach a fair and comprehensive agreement.

As we follow with concern the developments in Libya, and we call on all Libyan brothers to sit at the negotiating table and stand together to preserve the unity and integrity of Libya, we condemn the foreign interference in Libya.

We also support the peaceful solution in Syria, the exit of militias and mercenaries, and the preservation of the unity of Syrian soil.

We also stand with the brotherly Lebanese people, who were exposed to a humanitarian catastrophe due to the explosion in the port of Beirut, and this comes as a result of the domination of the terrorist Hezbollah, affiliated with Iran, to take decisions in Lebanon by force of arms, which led to the disruption of the constitutional state institutions, and achieving what the Lebanese people aspire Brother, security, stability, and prosperity requires the disarming of this terrorist party.

Mr. President .. Honorable Audience:

We call from this platform for intensifying efforts and joint international action to confront the major challenges facing humanity in the field of climate change, combating poverty and organized crime, the spread of epidemics, and other challenges that require strengthening our cooperation to work towards a bright future. In it, future generations will live in security, stability and peace. "
