A major fire broke out this Tuesday evening around 6 p.m. in the M. Bricolage store in Bruz, near Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine).
Alerted, firefighters intervened in large numbers to try to protect the sales area.
Thanks to the intervention of about fifty firefighters and about twenty devices, the fire was brought under control.
Only the reserve was devastated by the flames.
“These buildings have metal structures that become very fragile when they heat up.
It is always difficult to send personnel inside, ”explains one officer.
This Wednesday morning, a dozen firefighters are still on site to monitor and control the building.
It took six hours of work to overcome the fire.
A gendarmerie investigation was opened to try to determine the origin of the incident.

, these are garbage cans stored next to gas cylinders that are at the origin of the fire.
