Eiffel Tower closed to visitors due to bomb threat

“An evacuation was announced this morning after an anonymous call to the police.

This happened quite recently.

Now, law enforcement officers have arrived at the scene, they are conducting the necessary checks, ”the organization said.

It is noted that the area around the monument is cordoned off by the police.

Perimeter security is provided by armed law enforcement officers.

In May 2019, a man climbed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, spent several hours there, and then surrendered to the emergency services of the French capital.
