On Wednesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 121 new cases of the emerging coronavirus and 16 deaths, compared to 113 cases and 19 deaths on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Khaled Mujahid, said that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Wednesday, is 102,375 cases, including 91,843 cases that have been cured, and 5,822 deaths.

In mid-March, Egypt imposed general isolation measures to combat the outbreak of the virus, including night curfews, banning large public gatherings, and closing restaurants, theaters and cinemas, but it has lifted most of these measures since late June.
