"The declared facts are very serious. In France we must be able to go out dressed in the street as we want (...) We cannot accept that today in France, a woman feels in danger, is harassed, threatened. or struck because of its behavior ", he added, after the Council of Ministers.

"It is necessary that the light be shed on this subject, that the culprits are firmly sanctioned", claimed Gabriel Attal.

"The fight is not over, we were right to put in place the verbalization against street harassment".

The young woman, a 22-year-old Strasbourg student named Elisabeth, had detailed her assault on France Bleu Alsace.

She was walking home when she met three young men: one of them "told me + look at this bitch in a skirt +", she explains in a video broadcast Tuesday on the radio site and in which we can clearly distinguish his swollen right eye.

Elizabeth gives a "forgiveness?"

but immediately hears answer: "you shut up bitch and you lower the eyes".

Two of his attackers then each grab an arm while the third punches him in the face, before the trio flees, according to the young woman.

According to her, about fifteen witnesses attended the scene but none helped her or called for help.

Elisabeth posted photos of her face on social media after the assault, prompting many indignant reactions.
