Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Commissioner Eun-kyung Jung was selected as the '100 Most Influential People in the World by 2020' annually by Time magazine.
An official at the Blue House said that Time magazine has conveyed the reason for the selection that "Chief Chung is showing outstanding achievements and achievements in relation to corona prevention."
An official from the Blue House explained, "This selection is meaningful in confirming that K quarantine has been recognized as an example to be followed by the world."
In addition, the Blue House said that an introductory text in the name of President Moon will be included in an article in Time magazine announcing the news of Chung's selection.
