“

The patient's state of health has improved to the point that intensive care could be interrupted

” after 32 days of hospitalization, the hospital, one of the most famous in the world, said in a statement.

In view of the course of the treatment at this stage and the current condition of the patient, the doctors consider that a full recovery is possible

 ", added the Berlin hospital.

The possible long-term consequences of severe poisoning can only be assessed during the rest of the treatment

 ", he warned, however.

Thin and dark circles

Alexei Navalny could therefore return to Russia soon.

Asked by AFP on September 15 about a return of the opponent to Russia once restored, his spokesperson replied that "there

was never any question of anything else

 ".

The

number one Kremlin opponent, 44,

has posted several photos of himself in recent days, including one with his wife on a hospital balcony, where he appears emaciated and with dark circles in his eyes.

Several German, French and Swedish specialized laboratories determined that he had indeed been the victim of

poisoning with a Novichok-type nerve agent

, which Moscow disputes.

According to the support of Alexeï Navalny, traces of Novichok were notably found on a bottle of water collected in his hotel room in Siberia.

Victim of discomfort during a flight in Russia on August 20, Alexeï Navalny was first admitted to a Siberian establishment before being transferred to Germany.
