Magnus Jacobsson has nominated the governments of the USA, Serbia and Kosovo for the Nobel Peace Prize, something that Bohusläningen was the first to report on.
The reason is an agreement negotiated by the three administrations to normalize economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
In the motivation for the nomination, Magnus Jacobsson writes:
"... as they seek with this agreement to rule out the risk of new conflicts in the Balkans while approaching peace and mutual recognition of each other".
Sat in the car with the daughter
It was during Monday evening when Magnus Jacobsson was sitting in the car on the way with his daughter to riding training that the phone suddenly rang.
The man who called asked in English if Magnus had time to talk on the phone.
- My daughter, who is 14 years old, smiled a little and sat and listened to the whole conversation on the car phone, he says.
