Ashleig Barty, a top tennis player on the world singles list in tennis, is not participating due to concerns about the French Open Coronavirus.
The Australian star also missed the US Open in early September, but has still not rested on its laurels in its home country.
Namely, Barty won the Brookwater Golf Club Women’s Championship near Brisbane over the weekend.
The 24-year-old multi-talented golfed on the Brookwater par 72 course in 80 and 77 stroke rounds, and was also victorious in the hole games that settled the tournament.
Golf is in Barth's blood.
His father, Robert Barty, has represented Australia on golf courses as an amateur.
Last year at the Presidents Cup in Melbourne, tennis star hitting technique also made a big impact on 15-time major winner Tiger Woods.
- She has an awesome swing, once and for all!
The Guardian says Woods was so old at the time.
Louis Dobbelaar, who played as a men’s champion in Brookwater, said he believed Barty would be a professional in golf if he wanted to.
- He has all the tools if he wants to pursue it.
If he would try in earnest, I'm sure he could do it, Dobbelaar told AAP for the BBC's model.
- I have seen many athletes of different species coming golfers a pair, and he stands out, in fact, clearly.
His punch is really good, eye-hand coordination plays inherently for the merits of tennis.
Tennis and golf are not the only sports Barty has performed at a high level.
Prior to his tennis ambition, Barty also began playing professional cricket.
Undoubtedly, however, the greatest achievements are from the tennis courts.
In the spring of 2019, Barty celebrated his first grand slam victory in the now-missed French Open.
