On Monday, the government presented its budget bill for next year.

Most of it was known before, but locally for Uppsala County, it meant more money than announced.

Among other things, Uppsala municipality will receive SEK 486 million, more than the 225 promised this spring.

The Region also gets its promised share written up - from SEK 139 million to SEK 399 million.

- We want the Swedish people to be helped to get into the next phase of that pandemic, that we get the wheels to start spinning again, says Mikael Damberg (S).
