It was at the beginning of July that the torture beating allegedly took place in the victim's apartment in Karlshamn municipality.
It must have started with the woman stabbing the victim in the arm, before she was tied with silver tape and beaten with a metal tube against the head and body on several occasions of the three.
The same day, the trio was arrested.
These are two men in their 20s and 30s, and a woman in their 25s.
Everyone involved must have known each other before.
The prosecutor considers the assault to be serious because the trio must have shown "special ruthlessness and rudeness".
- The motive is a bit unclear.
The plaintiff believes that the perpetrators wanted money from her, while the suspects believe that the plaintiff stole from them and that they would take it back, says Hedvig Lundblad, prosecutor in the case.
Unclear setting
At the time of the assault, all three must have been under the influence of drugs, which is why they are also charged with drug offenses.
The suspects' attitude to the crimes is unclear at present.
- No one admits the crimes outright, but they have slightly different attitudes.
