"The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region are conducting an inspection, during which all the circumstances of the incident will be established," the text says.
It will also assess the actions of the management of the passenger motor transport company.
After completion of the check, a procedural decision will be made.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of an accident with a bus in the Khabarovsk Territory, 44 passengers and the driver received injuries of varying severity, while 13 people were hospitalized.
