In Africa, the number of deaths due to coronavirus exceeded 34 thousand

This is reported by TASS with reference to WHO data.

More than 1.1 million people have recovered on the continent after being infected.

Most of the infected and the dead were noted in South Africa - 661 936 and 15 992, respectively.

In Egypt, 5 787 deaths were recorded with 102 140 infected.

Earlier it was reported that the number of detected cases of coronavirus in Africa exceeded 1.4 million.
