  Candidates who agree to the polygraph test report that they are not worried or afraid to take such a test and therefore can accept it if the employer requests it.

Another 22% opposed this test.

They believe that it makes no sense to find a job in a company that does not trust job applicants in the first place.

Among the respondents who agreed to take a polygraph test, 71% were young people under 24.

  The poll also shows that 92% of human resource managers said that they have not conducted a polygraph on their employees.

47% of human resource managers believe that it is not appropriate to use a polygraph in the recruitment process, because this test cannot guarantee accurate results, and purchasing equipment will waste company funds.

At the same time, 44% of human resources managers believe that it makes sense to perform polygraphs on specific positions.

  According to the report, there are very few companies in Russia that use polygraphs to evaluate job candidates, only 1%.

Another 7% of companies test people in certain special positions, usually those who are engaged in financial work or need to be exposed to trade secrets at work.
