The municipality has worked on the basis of a crisis plan after the incident in Nyfors.

Many students who go to both primary and secondary school have had a need to talk about the event.

"Anxiety, sorrow and anger"

- There is anxiety, sadness and anger.

It is very important to talk to the young people and be able to calm them down and help them differentiate between facts and speculation, says Hans Ringström.

He believes that you now have to work in both the short and long term.

"Resolve conflicts in another way"

- Now it is a matter of ensuring security, for example that unauthorized persons do not enter our schools so that the staff can work in peace and quiet with their students.

- The second perspective is the long-term, we must work to ensure that children and young people respect human dignity and respect each other and understand that conflicts can be resolved in other ways, says Hans Ringström.

In the clip, you hear him tell why guards are deployed at Stålforsskolan.
