Women get menstruation every 28 days, it says in the books.

Half of the population that is menstruating knows that it instead has a tendency to appear both earlier and later and especially when you have absolutely not counted on it.

Affects half the population

Amanda Mattsson and Lova Svensson have also been involved in it and when it started its UF company in high school two years ago, it was to solve both a difficult and taboo problem.

- We think that there should be menstrual protection in places such as schools and workplaces as well as there is soap and toilet paper, says Amanda Mattsson.

It affects half the population and should be a matter of course.

Two schools have taken over

Today, their company manufactures period pack vending machines that contain tampons in two sizes and are free for those who need to take one.

Two schools, one in Örebro and one in Malmö, have seized on the idea and will set up vending machines.

A time delay means that it is not just a matter of emptying the entire machine at once.

- The cost of the vending machine and refilling lies with the company or school that buys it, Lova Svensson explains.

Most people we contact think that it is obvious to pay.

They just did not think that the need existed.
