Barcelona announced today, Tuesday, that it has approved the transfer of Arturo Vidal to the ranks of Inter Milan, and stated that "the Italian club will pay Barcelona one million euros as variants."
Thus, Vidal will play again under the coaching director Antonio Conte, who had coached him for 3 seasons at Juventus, and with the team won the Italian League title in the three seasons.
Vidal, 33, was crowned with Juventus for the fourth time (under the management of Italian Massimiliano Alegre), before moving in 2015 to Bayern Munich, who won the German League title (Bundesliga) for 3 consecutive seasons.
Vidal also won the Spanish League title with Barcelona in 2019.
Vidal's departure comes as part of Barcelona's plan to reduce the salary budget, but it is expected that Vidal will miss the Argentine stars Lionel Messi and Uruguayan Luis Suarez, as they have a strong friendship.
Vidal, through his official Instagram account, posted pictures of him with Messi and Suarez as a farewell message to Barcelona.

"I had two great seasons at this wonderful club," Vidal wrote on Monday. "Today (Monday) I start a new chapter in my life, but they will always be in my heart."
Vidal signed a two-year contract with Inter Milan, and Barcelona expressed in his statement the club's gratitude to the player "for his commitment and dedication" during his time with the team.
