Dubai Police records 721 violations and warns of such behavior on beaches


The Ports Police Center in Dubai recorded 721 violations on the beaches against people who did not comply with the decision issued by the Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates No. 38 of 2020 regarding the application of the regulation for controlling violations of precautionary measures, instructions and duties imposed to limit the spread of the new Corona virus "Covid 19".

Colonel Saeed Al-Madhani, Director of the Ports Police Center in Dubai Police, said that these violations were recorded since the decision was activated last March and until this month, stressing that Dubai Police does not tolerate anyone who violates the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus on the beaches in order to protect members of society and protect them from Infection.

He explained that the Ports Police Station conducts maritime security patrols, whether on foot, bicycles, motorcycles, cars or boats, in addition to using drones to ensure compliance with the instructions and general safety requirements for all those on the beaches.

He stated that a police station launched the "Nawras" project, in cooperation with the Drones Center in the Dubai Police, to use "drones" in the marine and land areas of the center with the aim of enhancing security, and following up on marine accidents, navigation and public beaches.

He pointed out that the drones are equipped with cameras that can photograph events in coverage areas, whether during the day or at night, in addition to loudspeakers to broadcast messages that the Dubai police wish to convey to the public on the beaches, calling on members of the community to adhere to the precautionary measures, especially physical spacing and wearing masks. Stressing that, according to legal procedures, non-compliance with public safety requirements will be dealt with, wishing everyone safety and security.
