Every day, the morning of Europe 1 looks back on one of the sporting events that make the news.

This Tuesday, Virginie Phulpin returns the case between Alvaro and Neymar.

The Brazilian international lost his calm during the PSG / OM match and denounces the racist remarks that the Marseille player would have made against him.

According to the images, it would indeed seem that the latter insulted him as a "monkey".

The Marseillais Alvaro Gonzalez would have uttered racist insults towards Neymar during PSG OM, this is what the Parisian says, who called on an expert.

It is the disciplinary commission of the League which will decide on the sanction.

For Virginie Phulpin, we will have to be severe and stop mixing everything up.

We will first have to put an end to the shame.

Because everything is shameful in this case for 10 days.

We have read, seen and heard everything.

First observation: when you don't know anything, you'd better shut up.

It's crazy the number of people who have managed to give their opinion on images that we did not have and on words that we did not know if they had been spoken.

We do not have to have an opinion on a subject that we do not understand, it is so symptomatic of our time.

In this case, we were served with strong opinions.

On the one hand, the Parisian supporters very upset against the racist Alvaro, and on the other the Marseille supporters against Neymar the liar who falsely accused Alvaro.

Even clubs and players often got involved in it very awkwardly.

Finally, there was never any question of the fight against racism, just partisan divisions depending on the club supported.

We have nothing to be proud of ...

So fortunately, the images and interpretations of the experts end up reaching us, it will perhaps allow us to come out of nothing and apply the necessary sanctions.

The disciplinary committee of the League will have to be severe?

Harsh but fair, yes.

If these images and their interpretation are indeed considered evidence of Alvaro's racist insults.

Virginie Phulpin must be careful, even if it is not very fashionable.

But if we have this proof, then yes we will have to severely punish Alvaro Gonzalez.

He risks 10 matches of suspension.

It seems to him to be a minimum.

Any laxity in this story would be catastrophic for the image of French football, with the sounding board of a PSG OM.

But beware, Neymar will also have to be punished for his homophobic insults.

We cannot graduate the discriminations, those that we accept, and those that we do not accept.

There, the disciplinary committee has a real responsibility to assume.

That of showing the limits that cannot be crossed.

So that once and for all, we no longer hear that it was only innocent chambering between two players from rival teams and that if we do not understand that it is because we do not understand anything about football.

 No.

Racism and homophobia is no.

Point.

As much as this foul-smelling affair at least serves to dot the i's.
