Free admission to make the cultural offer "accessible to all".

Monday evening during the city council meeting, the elected representatives of Rennes adopted one of the campaign measures of the mayor Nathalie Appéré.

In this new school year, access to the city's Museum of Fine Arts thus becomes free for everyone, as was already the case on the first Sunday of each month.

However, there will still be an entrance fee for temporary exhibitions.

The free measure adopted Monday evening also concerns subscription to municipal libraries.

On September 10, the elected representatives of Rennes Métropole had already voted for free subscription to the Champs Libres library as well as for access to the permanent collections of the Musée de Bretagne and the Ecomusée du Pays de Rennes.
