The lieutenant prosecutor of the

Supreme Court

, number one of the Fiscal Career,

Luis Navajas

has charged this Monday against two of the prosecutors of the

process

whom he has accused of being "ideologically contaminated" to report on the twenty complaints filed by the Government of

Pedro Sánchez

for managing the health crisis.

In an interview on

Onda Cero

, Navajas pointed out that last May two top-ranking prosecutors in the Fiscal Career tried to "influence" him to report in favor of the admission for processing of the complaints against the Executive.

As reported by prosecutors to EL MUNDO, the two members of the Public Ministry who went to speak with Navajas to request the abstention of the State Attorney General and former Minister of Justice,

Dolores Delgado

, and demand that the matter be taken to the Board of Prosecutors of Sala were

Consuelo Madrigal

and

Fidel Cadena.

Against the former Attorney General of the State, her former boss Madrigal, the signatory of the controversial report that exonerates the Executive has charged especially accusing her of having written a "whimper" against the Government in the pages of this newspaper.

He was referring to a tribune, entitled The captive society, published by EL MUNDO on May 4, where the court prosecutor argued that "the covert imposition, and without internal and European control, of a true a state of exception, in which rights are severely restricted, under the cover of the extension of the state of alarm that guarantees the Government sole command in the acute phase of exceptionality and in the return to the already impossible normality ".

Navajas has argued that Madrigal could have been exposed to a disciplinary investigation for these words and that she was ideologically incapable of participating in the matter of the complaints against the Executive.
