The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that there is no threat to settlements and economic facilities.
According to the ministry, more than 7.3 thousand man-made fires were registered in Russia last week.
“In connection with the decrease in average daily temperatures, the Ministry of Emergency Situations intensifies preventive work with the population to comply with fire safety requirements,” the department said.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a meeting of the board of the military department said that army aviation and drones are involved in monitoring the situation with forest fires.
