The conflict between the Belarusian government and the demonstrators rages on the Internet.

Hackers have indeed disclosed on the Web the personal data of a thousand Belarusian police officers, reports 01net.

The file contains the names of the police officers, their telephone numbers, their addresses and other information.

"As long as the arrests continue, we will continue to publish this data on a massive scale," said the hackers in a statement, viewed by Reuters.

Hooded police officers

Hackers denounce the mass arrests of demonstrators, who march peacefully every Sunday to contest the re-election of Alexander Lukashenko on August 9.

But the man, president for twenty-six years, responds in a very repressive way.

More than 100 people were arrested again this Sunday during a new demonstration.

“No one will remain anonymous, even behind a hood,” the hackers still write in their press releases.

At the beginning of September, images circulating on social networks indeed showed Belarusian police officers in hood, in civilian clothes and armed with batons circulating in the city center.
