Dismissals, partial activity, teleworking etc., this re-entry in a context of health and economic crisis is very special for all workers.

The CFDT union will establish from this Tuesday until Thursday "contact points" throughout France to allow workers to ask all their questions.

It is also a way for the union to recruit new members.

Stands in town centers, in fairs or shopping areas: CFDT activists invest 500 “contact points” for three days in an attempt to answer the workers' multiple questions.

"

 It will sometimes be a matter of responding to employees whose jobs are threatened,"

explains Laurent Berger, secretary general of the CFDT

, to whom we offer a conventional break for example when it is an economic difficulty, to whom we will tell that there is an economic difficulty and at the same time it will be a windfall effect to justify a dismissal for such and such a reason.

The opportunity also to survey workers on the conditions under which they return to work: "

continues Laurent Berger.

We are also trying to find out the state of mind of employees, because I will not hide from you that we are already seeing a form of weariness in this re-entry, while it is September;

and there we feel a form of psychological fatigue.

We want to verify that in terms of health protection, social dialogue, things are going well for employees.

"

Finally, since the period of confinement, memberships to the union, the first in France for two years, have subsided.

With this operation, the CFDT therefore intends to demonstrate its usefulness.

The confederation will offer two months of “free” membership before paying for a fee.
