His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and British Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, met in London.

During the meeting, they discussed strategic relations between the two friendly countries, and ways to enhance joint cooperation in many fields, including health, as well as joint cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

His Highness and the British Foreign Minister also discussed developments in the region, and a number of regional and international issues of common concern, including Iran, Yemen and Libya.

The two sides affirmed the distinguished historical relations between the two countries and their leaderships. They also reviewed the peace treaty between the UAE and the State of Israel, which was recently signed in the United States of America, and its important role in consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the region.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the strategic relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom, and the continuous keenness to advance the horizons of joint cooperation between them in all fields, in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly countries, and benefits their peoples.

The meeting was attended by the British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, James Cleverley, the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mansour Abdullah Belhoul, and the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Cultural Affairs, Omar Saif Ghobash.

The talks reviewed the peace treaty between the UAE and Israel, and its important role in consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the region.
