Two arrests after the death of a young man killed in the metro in Lyon

Few elements have filtered for the time being on the circumstances of this murder.

On the night of Saturday to Sunday, a 20-year-old man was killed in Lyon while he was at the Stade de Gerland metro station, in the 7th arrondissement.

According to

he was assaulted by two men who stabbed him and beat him with broken bottles.

Despite the intervention of witnesses from the scene and then the emergency services, the victim died at the scene of the attack.

The suspects, drunk during the events according to the regional daily, were arrested and placed in police custody.

The Lyon prosecutor's office has, for the moment, given no information on this case.
