From preschool class up to year six has for a week worked with the project Nätsnäll.

- We know that even small children use telephones, watch clips or play, and then it is important to teach them early on what to do if someone writes something stupid, says Sara Mannberg, teacher in preschool class at Linblomman's school in Röbäck.

During the week, the school has informed about how things are spread online, talked about what smileys and icons mean and raised various examples and talked about how situations can be solved.

Important to talk about

Some time ago, a film was spread where some children abused another child in Umeå and recently circulated a suicide video on the app Tiktok.

Johan Karlsson says that many older students have seen the clips.

- Not the students in grade six, but with the older ones, the films have come up and you notice that the children really want to talk about the clips, so it is super important that we talk so that the students dare to tell when they discover films like this.
