An investigation was opened Saturday in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, after the discovery of a man, found unconscious, naked and injured, on a road overlooking the city, not far from the Basilica of the Visitation.
According to
Le Dauphiné,
which reports this case this Sunday, the police were alerted by a hiker who, already Friday, during a walk, had noticed the silhouette lying in the grass.
She had not then approached.
But on Saturday, seeing the man lying in the same position in the same place, she ended up warning the police.
On the spot, the police discovered the victim, aged about 40, unable to move because of his broken legs.
The man who has since remained silent was taken to hospital.
It would be a homeless person of Belgian nationality, according to the daily.
But for now, investigators do not know what could have happened to him and lead to his serious injuries.
Accident, beating ... All avenues are considered as soon as the police have no testimony for the time being and the victim remains holed up in silence.
