The returning Kylian Mbappé carried Paris SG in its large victory (3-0) in Nice on Sunday on behalf of the fourth day which saw Montpellier, winner of Angers (4-1), climb on the podium.

- Paris goes on -

Back after his quarantine due to coronavirus, Mbappé made a comeback with a bang.

The French international scored (38th) on a penalty he caused, victim of a foul by Khéphren Thuram, and delivered the decisive ball for the 2-0, pushed to the bottom by Angel Di Maria (45th + 1) .

Marquinhos added strength to the head (66th), perfectly distinguished on a caviar from Di Maria.

The only bad news for PSG, still weighed down by absences: the injury of Idrissa Gueye, released in the first period while holding his foot.

Authors of a sluggish start to the season with two defeats and a last-minute victory against Metz, the Parisians have regained their face as triple champions of France, coming back to 4 points behind the leader Rennes.

- Montpellier on the podium -

Montpellier, winner of Angers à la Mosson (4-1), temporarily settles in third place, thanks to a double from his striker Andy Delort.

Arnaud Souquet opened the scoring for La Paillade, beating the former Nîmes Paul Bernardoni (18th) with a low shot.

The Angevins quickly replied with their talisman Stéphane Bahoken (25th), scorer after a great collective action.

And Delort arose at the end of the first period, taking advantage of a confused Angevin recovery to win physically and head (44th) his first goal since February 5.

The Algerian international followed with an impeccable header (60th) on a cross from Junior Sambia.

And Florent Mollet completed the offensive festival, with a superb strike that hit the bar and bounce just behind the line (86th).

- Breton duel for Brest -

At the bottom of the standings, Brest won the Breton derby against Lorient (3-2) with a game that was carried away in five minutes.

Olivier Dall'Oglio's men opened the scoring with a heavy uncrossed strike from Romain Perraud (30th).

Steve Mounié very quickly doubled the stake with a header (32nd) too high for Gautier Larsonneur, and the Merlus reduced the gap with a beautiful cross from Enzo Le Fée (34th) deflected into his own net by Christophe Hérelle.

And Franck Honorat delivered the Brestois by making the break with a splendid volley (62nd), after a series of approximations in the defense of Lorient.

Thomas Monconduit reduced the gap in stoppage time (90th + 2), taking advantage of a failed recovery from Larsonneur.

- Strasbourg and Metz on the wire -

Strasbourg won the duel of the red lanterns against Dijon with a liberating goal from Stefan Mitrovic (81st) served by Dimitri Liénard in a completely unbridled end of the match.

Racing increased the number of dangerous situations at the end, in particular by Idriss Saadi (77th, 84th, 88th).

But Dijon failed to equalize (87th) on a parade from Kamara.

In another badly started duel, Metz finally scored and won (2-1) against Reims who recorded a third consecutive setback.

It was striker Ibrahima Niane who released the Metz counter, with a header (18th), on a free kick from Farid Boulaya.

Boulaye Dia put the Rémois afloat by converting a penalty (44th), conceded by Matthieu Udol and an irregular tackle from behind by Mathieu Cafaro.

Niane, again, came to deliver Saint-Symphorien (87th), taking advantage of the fatigue of the Rémois reduced to ten after the exclusion (50th) of Marshall Munetsi.
