An Asian woman discovered that her husband, who has been living with her for nearly 13 years, is another man with a different identity than the one with which she had known him throughout their marriage, so she reported him to the Dubai Police, and upon his investigation by the Public Prosecution, it was found that he had impersonated another person after forging a health card Attributed to the Ministry of Health, and a report proving that he is free from communicable diseases, and according to them, a forged marriage certificate from the victim, issued by the Dubai Sharia Court of First Instance in 2007.

For her part, the 38-year-old wife said that the accused submitted to her engagement in 2007, and identified himself as “Jamsheed”. After agreeing on the details, the marriage was held in the Dubai Sharia Court, after showing a health card with the same name, with his picture affixed to it, and in the presence of two witnesses, one of whom is her brother. She had a baby with him.

She added that after 11 years of marriage, they disagreed as a result of a misunderstanding about some matters, then the disputes developed into the litigation stage, and she obtained a divorce and left the house, noting that she asked him during their marriage, when their three-year-old son, to obtain an identity card and a passport for her, but he He was stalling, and she asked him to do that again when he reached the age of seven, but he eluded her as well, until he told her that his real name was "Baran" and not "Jamsheed", so she filed for divorce and the Dubai Police reported him.

For his part, a Dubai police witness said that he had started an investigation with the accused, who reported that he had married the victim nearly 13 years ago, and assumed the character of another person to complete the marriage, as he did not carry identification papers, and had a 12-year-old son from her, and issued him a certificate Milad is from Preventive Medicine, but he has not been issued an ID or passport.

The Dubai Public Prosecution charged him with committing two felonies of forgery in an official document and using it, and misdemeanor providing false personal information to a public official.
