A man would have deliberately struck several people gathered in front of the town hall of Abeilhan, a town in Hérault located about twenty kilometers north-east of Béziers.

The facts took place shortly before three in the morning.

A man died as a result of the shock, three other people (two men aged 24 and 37 and a woman aged 25) were transported in absolute urgency to the CHRU in Montpellier.

The driver arrested

The circumstances of this tragedy are still unknown.

The driver was reportedly arrested by the police.
